Privacy Policy
Custom Wordle is built to hold as little of your data as possible. The short version: no accounts, no uploads, nothing stored on any server — including your puzzles.
What stays on your device
Puzzles travel inside the links you share; this site has no record of them. Your play history, statistics and streaks are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. Clearing browser data erases them permanently. Nothing you type into the maker or the grid is transmitted anywhere — the page works with the network unplugged.
What the site stores
The site has no accounts and keeps no user records. Like most websites, the hosting layer may process standard technical request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability; those logs are not used to profile visitors and are not shared or sold.
Classroom use, plainly
Because there are no accounts and nothing is uploaded, the site collects no student data by design. Students trade puzzle links the way they would trade pieces of paper; whatever the puzzle says travels in the link the student chooses to share.
Changes
