The service

The puzzle maker and play page are provided free, as is, with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Links encode their puzzles permanently — a sent puzzle cannot be edited or revoked, so check the word before sharing it with your grandmother.

Acceptable use

Use the tools freely for friends, families and classrooms. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service or generate puzzles at abusive scale. You are responsible for the words and messages you put into puzzles — keep them yours and keep them kind.

Trademarks

This site is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the New York Times Company or the original Wordle. “Wordle” is used descriptively to describe the word-guessing format; all trademarks belong to their owners.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the site — including friendships strained by four-guess mode.
